Aqua’s next keyblade was a flashy one that had caught her eye with its golden glint. The blue haired master of the keyblade wondered what it was before she read the inscription.

“’Fortune’s Favor.’” Aqua read as she looked at the keyblade within the lock pedestal.  “’With the light of luck shining upon the wielder, critical strikes and rare opportunities will become commonplace in the fight against darkness.’”

She saw it was made of mostly gold with card suites emblazoned upon it. Around the hand guards were also playing cards, each one brimming with what felt like luck. Aqua was curious as to exactly how such a keyblade might work. Part of her was reluctant to rely solely on luck, but she knew she’d need every advantage she could afford against Xehanort’s plans.

Turning the lock and drawing it, releasing its power, she felt more confident and was filled with a sort of shrewd cleverness. She had innate knowledge of games of chance, slots, probability and overall fortune. She could feel her outfit change, her arm sleeves turning dark blue and tied with white silk ribbons, a collar of similar cloth appeared around her neck, her pink straps becoming a small tie as her top changed to emphasize her bust. Her waist skirt also turned dark blue as her shoes became more stylish and her socks grew to become more like stockings. Her hairstyle changed to a slightly sharper, spikier looking one. Upon her lips, ruby red lipstick appeared.

The final piece was a set f hair decorations made of playing cards. Swinging the Fortune’s Favor, Aqua noticed several heartless had appeared.

“At last, a chance to test my luck.” Aqua said happily to herself before she attacked. Her first hit was critical, the next one operated like slot edge. To her surprise, it felt like she was having a perfect battle. She was trying no harder than normal, but she was dominating the battle. The heartless tended to trip or fall in one blow, curiously dropping loads of munny upon their dispersal.

Within moments, Aqua had slain most of them, with only four remaining. With a smirk, she tossed the playing cards in her hand and destroyed them. Smirking, she summoned them back and spoke to herself again.

“With a keyblade like this, defeating any opponent will be an absolute breeze, not to mention I’ll make a killing off of it while I do.” As Aqua began to think of the munny she could make while saving her friends, she realized she was also feeling a gambler’s high. Even with all the luck in the world (or worlds) she knew it would eventually run out. If she became too cocky or complacent, it could spell the end for those she cared about.

Aqua tried to think about if this would be the best way to save Ven and Terra, but then again a chance with luck was better than nothing at all. She began to think about it as she stared at the golden keyblade…
Previously...  Vault of Keys: Introduction
Aqua had drifted far from the shores of the Dark Meridian. After her meeting with the mysterious cloaked man and hearing of the turmoil in the Realm of Light, she sought to return in order to aid Sora and save her dear friends, as well as the other worlds.
With time and effort, the man helped her to construct a raft, hoping that she might sail to a doorway and return to save him as well.
After some time adrift, she did indeed come to an island, one secluded and far away. In this realm of Darkness, Aqua wondered what would be inside. All the young keyblade master could do was trust the light within her heart.
Once she entered she saw a number of keyblades, all of them sheathed within pedestals. To each keyblade, there was a corresponding door.
Aqua marveled at the place, wondering what it was. Perhaps it was a remnant of the keyblade war.
Before long, she found an inscription upon the walls:
‘You who have sailed here, drifting upon the sea, seeking the path home
Your destination l

Luck seems to be on Aqua's side with this new Keyblade, Fortune's Favor. With the golden, gambling oriented weapon she is able to call upon all the luck in the world and use new, chance oriented skills. The question is if it is what she truly desires.

New Entries:
From the minds of DfangX and Benji-Blacksky come a new chain series featuring an old favorite character.
Inspired by the Metroid House of Upgrades series, you will be able to see Aqua not only wield new keyblades, but take on new forms and destiny in this fan series.
Each update is only $15 for a story where the commissioner chooses her changes and $10 for a story where the commissioner is gracious enough to leave it to our discretion. For an additional $10, an epilogue will be given to each path, where she embraces her new life.
While the series is just starting, there may be plans for dual wielding and possibly more.
Whether you're a KH fan or a TF fan, this series has a little something to offer to those interested!
