Mei couldn't believe what the laughing Lantern Inn looked like. Her big sister had told her a lot about the fantastic place. About the friends she made and the magic that existed there, but she never expected it to be true.
The sneaker wearing young woman was in awe.
"So this is the place? Seems nice." Mei knocked on the door, only to see it creak open slowly. No one was within, which seemed ominous. "Okay....A little creepy, I guess."
Mei walked in and smelled a horrible scent. It was as if someone or something had just died. The smell made her think something was amiss.
She walked around and saw nothing and no one, yet the door behind her was now shut and sealed by thorny vines.
"Crap...." Mei looked around and saw nothing. She just heard scratching and faint moans. She could hear them coming from upstairs. "Can't go there...Better try over there."
Mei went into a back room and bolted the door shut. The coast was clear, but the window was sealed by similar thorns.
"’Necro-Botanist's Notes: The Guide to theoretical resurrection through plant life...’" Mei began to read it and slowly started to speak aloud. "'By using cutlets of trees grown by Dryads, I've discovered a portion of their residual life force remains. As trees live far longer than mortals, so too do their guardians. If I could amass said energy and infuse it into a manageable plant, it could eliminate death...'"
Mei flipped ahead a few more pages.
"'Progress has been fair. A new plant, called Rafflesia Mythica has been bred. Its flowers smell horrid, but it has managed to revive corpses, albeit they must be connected to its vines and the zombies are only semi conscious. Must perfect the method.'"
Mei continued to read, noticing a cut off entry.
"'Rafflesia Mythica has grown more wild since I used my own alchemy to give the zombies more life. They have adopted plantlike traits to replace their missing and overly rotted portions. In addition, the Rafflesia itself has grown sentient. It has grown out of control and is trying to create more bodies to control. Thankfully, this place's owner evacuated the building. I'm trying to fend it off while she seeks aid. Fire may be it's one we-'"
That was where the writing trailed off. Mei felt a chill go down her spine. Just how many dead did this Rafflesia thing have?
"Time to do some pruning..." Mei sighed. She looked around to see what she could use. She saw a few pieces of cutlery. All she needed to do was prepare to fight the Corpse Flower.

Night Of The Reunion Part 6 (AP, Preg, WG, BE)
As time continued to pass Piper wondered what was taking Holly so long. The queen bee had always worked on her own schedule, making others wait for her. It was aggravating that she still had to put up with this at this point. Piper wondered if changing so many of Holly's friends had caused a shift in reality she hadn't planned. Perhaps knowing her friends were all the kinds of losers they used to torment had left Holly with little desire to attend? Piper put that thought out of her head. The fact the event was still at the country club meant that Holly was still bankrolling it. Besides, Holly was such a cutthroat bitch that she'd find pleasure in the pain of her former friends. Piper found solace making small talk with several people while continuing to sample the wine. It had been a long time since she'd been able to cut loose and drink. Her tolerance had been high back in college, and she trusted herself to know when she'd had too much. "So why do you want to go to this reunion

"Fuck, where did she go? Is Maria still here?" Piper began frantically looking around the venue. Despite her spells power it had limitations. To alter the history of a person they had to be able to hear what she said as a catalyst. It was one of the safety mechanisms put in place to ensure the spell couldn't cause too much chaos. It was also one of the reasons Piper had needed to attend the reunion. Of course he had wanted to see her enemies change, but without being near them it simply wouldn't happen. Otherwise she'd have been able to stay home and watch the results with a scrying spell. People glared at Piper as she rudely shoved them. She didn't care if it meant finding Maria and having a chance to correct her mistake. Piper only hoped that Maria was still on the country club grounds, or the likelihood of fixing her before sunrise was nil. "Watch where you're going!" A woman grabbed her by the arm and spun Piper to face her. "You're pissing me off, running around like a

Ace Attorney: Spiritual Assistant Droid M4-Y4
"Grr, work already!" Maya Fey yelled as she shook the laptop. The laptop was a gift from Blue Screen inc. after Phoenix defended one of their employees for murder. Since Phoenix liked his boxy dinosaur of a monitor more, he gave the laptop to Maya instead, who happily took it even if she knew as much tech as Phoenix, which wasn’t much at all. Unfortunately, she couldn’t get it running. All she wanted to do was to use her computer to mail jokes to her friends and find the best pizza place. But she can barely get it to work. "I'm following all the instructions! Argh, I really wish I can just channel you and figure out how you work!" She lit up. Wait, could she channel the laptop? "I mean, a lot of stuff are said to host spirits, right?" she asked herself, recalling the myths of yokai. Figuring she had nothing else to lose, she sat down before the laptop and opened her body to whatever spirit or power lay inside. Keeping her eyes shut, she felt a bit cold as she attempted to channel
