Lyra was awoken early in the morning by rustling at the front of her tent. “Mn, Ethan?” she murmured, still mostly asleep. In response, a small, fluffy body pushed its way into her arms and curled up against the side of her sleeping bag. Her Zorua had found its way out of its Pokeball in the night, apparently. “Oh well, at least you found your way back,” she said, burying her face in the Dark-type’s soft coat. She could hear the sound of fat raindrops plopping intermittently against the canvas of her tent, and there was a faint chill in the air beyond her sleeping bag. After all he and Lyra had been through since arriving in Vermilion City, Ethan almost couldn’t believe they finally had a stretch of beach to themselves. While it was true the beach in question wasn’t on the ocean, he wasn’t about to complain. The river’s wide, slow current made the waters safe for their Pokemon to play in without the risk of sudden tides washing them out to sea and the play of light upon the dark, glassy surface was every bit as beautiful as the ocean. Ethan awoke to the unpleasant sensation of someone prodding him in the shoulder. The light in his apartment still had the rosy glow of sunrise, stretching long, lavender shadows across the floor. Groaning, he rolled over in his futon. Eyes still heavy from sleep, he looked at the time. 6:51 AM, nine minutes before his alarm was set to go off. “Lyra?” he mumbled, sitting up and seeing his friend kneeling beside him, a huge grin on her face. “How did you get in? Monster Cafe: Moving Forward

I'm sure that many of you know what the Monster Cafe is or at least heard about it. There are a few posts introducing the cafe and we just finished the poll for the first transformation. I have decided that it would be best to keep doing the Monster Cafe will Polls. I know that it isn't as fun as picking out your own monster girl, but I hope that it will give more people a chance to have their opinions heard. There are a few rules that will be present in the polls. There will always be 10 different monster girls to choose from There will be a theme for the entire poll. Such as Milf, Loli, Tsundere, etc. The polls will run for 10 days before being finalized Unlike the Monster Mansion/Castle which I have done my best to keep moderate in graphic detail the Monster Cafe will be a tad bit more messed up.
